Your Senator, Ben Nelson, could be the deciding vote on health reform!

We believe that a public option that is government-run, like Medicare, does nothing to create value for patients. It will continue to impose burdensome regulations on doctors, interfering with how they care for patients. If Congress passes a Medicare-like public option, people across the country will not see any improvement in their care and may even see providers struggle to stay in business if reimbursement is tied to Medicare rates. Furthermore, we believe that a Medicare-like public option does nothing to improve access, quality or cost containment. Please help make sure that doesn’t happen.
