HealthCare REPAIR is building a movement for major change in the way health care is delivered and paid for in America. A project of the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center, HealthCare REPAIR strives to ensure the future of quality and availability of health care for all.
The goal of HealthCare REPAIR is to create the political will to solve the health care crisis before baby-boomers start joining the ranks of Medicare recipients, bankrupting our country.
There is no single spokesperson for patients in today’s health care reform debate. Nor is there an ideal review panel of patients which can say which reform idea is best. Yet to be most effective and successful, health care reform must address patients’ needs.
HealthCare REPAIR will mobilize American patients and health care consumers to create a groundswell of support to ensure that patients are at the center of any health reform plans, that health care reform remains a top priority of the next presidential administration, and that the collaborative Cornerstones for Health Care Reform are the basis for change.
